Packing a Punch

Small is good if that’s how you roll. Infact in business, small can be beautiful and practical too. It’s no flat-footed giant with weight issues. It’s not a discreditable green-skinned hulk with high blood pressure whenever his pulse rate goes through the roof either …

VPL

VPL is short for Very Penneylane. They’re my take on everyday lessons from life. Lessons learnt and others where I missed the boat completely. Life’s long or short, depending on which end of the paddle you draw. Either way, being stuck up a creek without one makes for some interesting observations.

ABOUT that Lesson

Actually, it’s some of those things, but not all of them all at once! So don’t be fooled. ‘Little’ can pack a flavour punch too, so watch the left upper cut, it’s lethal. It has the intensity and desire that all small but new businesses have. Don’t underestimate them.

Watch your jaw, if it drifts too close to its sphere of influence, there’s a good chance they’ll hit you fair and square. They like punching above their weight. And make no mistake, people these days, they still love a David vs Goliath ending.
