Full of Wind and Stir Crazy
It’s been balmy and blustery over the past few days but I never seem to mind the wind when it’s warm. I must say though that when it’s blustery some unknown something takes hold of my sensibilities and blows them all out the window.
Wind is very heady stuff. It can make you feel crazy enough to throw-your-inhibitions-out-the-window. There’s something entirely delightful about that, go on, admit it. It can make you dance round in leaves in the backyard, kicking them into the air wth all the delight of a school child.
I like the way it [wind] smacks you round the ears because you have a short attention span and makes you focus. It can be like a shot in the arm, you know its coming but you still act ridiculously until it actually does!
Wind can make me stir crazy and leave me (and others) wondering what an earth is going on. Of course nothing is going on it’s just that the wind lets us leave go of our inhibitions (whether we say we have them or not).
It’s an interesting feeling yes? So what’s the strangest thing you ever did when you were having a ‘stir-crazy moment. Go on, spit it out, we’re all friends here.
