Ronnie del Carmen is currently working for Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville. Prior to that he’s worked at Dreamworks and Warner Bros. All in the capacity of story artist, story supervisor, character designer, illustrator and all round pest.

“There’s documentation that shows he’s been dabbling in comics over the years for DC and Dark Horse among others. He self-publishes his own comic book, Paper Biscuit. He is maintained by his wife and kids and is not allowed too much peanut butter.

He says, “Paper Biscuit is a self-published comic book intended to house all my explorations in story, art and matters in between, whatever that may be. “Half-life” is the first story that features, Nina, a young girl with the particular affliction of being able to walk in her dreams awake. Like you or I walking down our neighborhood or the mall, Nina has been finding herself in her dreamworld fully lucid and able to interact with whatever’s there. She cannot induce the condition nor can she wake herself up if things get too scary.”
