The Paua Butterfly Campaign
Is raising funds to make the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute a reality, and is seeking pledges over the next three years to equip and commission the Institute’s premises. Beyond that, the Campaign will focus on creating a $10M capital fund to ensure long term financial security for the Institute.
They have a range of levels available for Donors and Sponsors to contribute and there will be appropriate recognition for those who support the campaign. The Paua Butterfly Campaign is their fundraising programme. The New Zealand butterfly species represents levels of donations they receive.
The Gillies McIndoe Research Institute is a Registered Charitable Trust. Donations are fully tax deductible, subject to the usual IRD conditions. You can DONATE now, including making a pledge to donate on a regular basis, or leaving a bequest in your will, or staying in touch in the meantime.
The Gillies McIndoe Research Institute is now in its new premises. Donations will help fund a range of research activities including: Research Programmes, Research Fellowships, Hosted Scientist Programmes, Scholarships for Research Students, Laboratory Equipment and Associated Materials, Clinical Trials and Teaching and Mentoring Programmes. In the future, the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute will create an Endowment Fund to ensure ongoing self-sufficiency through donations, grants and income received from investments.
THE PAUA BUTTERFLY CAMPAIGN
The Gillies McIndoe Research Institute is located in Hospital Road, Newtown, Wellington, New Zealand. Supporting the Paua Butterfly campaign is vitally important to fund the ongoing research work of the Institute.
Campaign Levels are: 1) Chrysalis Club: Gifts of $5 – $1,000 2) Forest Ringlet butterfly: Gifts of $1,000 – $10,000 3) NZ Blue butterfly: Gifts of $10,000 – $20,000 4) Copper butterfly: Gifts of $20,000 – $50,000 5) Yellow Admiral butterfly: Gifts of $50,000 – $100,000 6) Red Admiral butterfly: Gifts of $100,000 – $500,000 7) Monarch butterfly: Gifts of $500,000 – $1 million 8. Paua butterfly: Gifts of $1 million and above.
