At the much anticipated first ‘live demonstration’ of the Table Connect for iPhone project, design studio LOA revealed that it was all an elaborate viral marketing stunt – a combination of skillful visual effects and a meticulously planned roll-out strategy.

“The Table Connect for iPhone team created massive interest in a video that showed them connecting an iPhone in a giant table surface screen that resembled an iPhone.
Suddenly, all the contents of the iPhone surface were displayed on the giant screen, and the guys started performing the exact same gestures we are used to from an iPhone, with no noticeable lag whatsoever.

Has expertise in the areas of strategic branding and design, he formed LOA Design Studio together with 3D-artist Stefan Fleig and filmmaker Nino Leitner in 2008. Since then, the team has delivered well thought visual brand experiences for their clients.

Stefan Fleig (LOA Design Studio, finderly.com)
While studying animation and graphic design at the University of Applied Sciences Salzburg, Stefan met his soon-to-be partners: Lucas Triebl and Nino Leitner. Shortly after earning his wings as SpecialFX artist in Los Angeles in 2005, he co-founded LOA Design Studio and is especially responsible for everything animated and 3D. Since 2010, he is also co-founder and creative director of finderly.com, a promising internet start-up based in Vienna.
Nino Leitner (LOA Design Studio)
Nino Leitner is a filmmaker and DP, heading the Motion division of LOA Studio. He studied film production in Austria and the UK, and now specialises mainly in commercials, corporate films and documentaries.
His films were featured at film festivals around the globe and won several awards. He is at the forefront of digital cinematography, constantly testing new camera equipment and techniques that can enhance the result. He has gained much acclaim with his popular camera technology blog.”
