You may think that the mass media that assails you every minute of the day from Facebook to Twitter to the BBC News site is giving you a diverse and plural sense of the world, its news, its current affairs and its opinions. Chris Goodall thinks there’s so much competing for our attention that the real things that matter tend to not get through.

“Chris is a consultant to Enders Analysis, the UK’s leading media research business. He specialises in regulatory and public policy issues and spent much of the last year advising Enders clients on the bid by News Corporation to buy the pay television company BSkyB.

He is a former member of the Competition Commission, the investigative section of the UK’s anti-trust authority. He is also one of the UK’s leading writers on energy and the environment. He has published three books on climate change and contributes frequently to the Guardian and other newspapers.

Locally, he has spent his time as a PPC helping local groups successfully protect vital open spaces such as the Trap Grounds, Radley Lakes, Alexandra Courts and Warneford Meadow. He was the Green Party parliamentary candidate for Oxford West and Abingdon in the 2010 general election.”
