ABOUT Chris Barry
“Christopher Barry, MD, PhD, FACS is an Associate Professor at The University of Rochester Medical Center. He completed his Undergraduate education with honours at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then went on to earn his medical degree and PhD in immunology from Tufts University School of Medicine.
From 2003 to 2005, he was a transplant surgery fellow and clinical instructor at the University of California, San Francisco, later serving as an Abdominal Transplant Fellowship Director and an Assistant Professor in residence, Department of General Surgery, Section of Transplantation, at the University of California, San Diego.
In addition to being American Board Certified, Dr. Barry is a member of professional organisations including the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, The Transplantation Society, American Society of Transplantation and Association for Academic Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Barry is the recipient of several prestigious awards and honours and has authored numerous publications.”
