Jill Earthy: Defying Satisfaction: Re-thinking How We Work

Jill Earthy is an entrepreneur who has successfully built two companies, grown them nationally and then sold them. For the past 5 years, she has been the Executive Director and then CEO of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE), a Non-Profit organisation educating, mentoring and energising female entrepreneurs. Jill’s passion is identifying opportunities, connecting people and helping small businesses to grow.

“Jill Earthy is an entrepreneur with a Master of Business Administration. Throughout her career she has worked with strong leaders to build and deliver programmes promoting women in business.

Her first employer was an inspirational female entrepreneur who became her mentor and business partner. This partnership led Jill to work with several other successful entrepreneurs and to ultimately become one. She created a national event staffing company in 2001 while based in Toronto.

Jill grew her company to service eight Canadian cities prior to selling it to a Vancouver-based company in 2003. Assuming a Directorship role at the new organisation, she then drove the growth of the company to double its combined revenue before joining FWE (Forum for Women Entrepreneurs) in the spring of 2007.
