She travels the planet teaching and learning how poetry can foster healing and peacemaking within and around us. Kim has documented the power of poetry to melt the walls between cultures, creeds and generations.

ABOUT Kim Rosen
“Kim Rosen, MFA, is the author of ‘Saved by a Poem: The Transformative Power of Words’. Combining her devotion to poetry with her background as a spiritual teacher and therapist.
She weaves inspiration, story, poetry, and music in her lectures and workshops in a variety of settings. Kim is the co-creator of four CDs of spoken poetry and music and has been on the faculty of the Omega Institute, Wisdom University and the International Pathwork Foundation.
Kim earned a B.A. from Yale University and an M.F.A. in poetry from Sarah Lawrence College. Her work has been published in O Magazine, The Sun Magazine, The Huffington Post, Feminist.com, HealYourLife.com and The Texas Review among others. She was a recipient of the 2001 Robinson Jeffers Tor House Prize for Poetry and appeared as a guest on Oprah Radio, New Dimensions Radio, and CNN Radio Network.”
